I am an active, performing professional flutist but I cherish my time in the studio with my students! I hold a Masters of Music in flute performance from The Peabody Conservatory. I have been teaching private lessons consistently since 2002.
My studio is a compassionate, student-focused place to grow towards your goals and greatest potential. I believe that each student is first and foremost an individual, so each student’s experience is personalized to optimize their individual success. I believe anyone studying music is succeeding if they are able to communicate the music they are playing and express themselves through it. In order to enable this I focus on two main categories: comfort and flexibility on the instrument, and the ability to understand and interpret the music they are learning. These areas grow and develop with the student as they age and excel. I look forward to meeting you!
