October 18, 2014 - VIOLAPALOOZA at James Madison University

You are invited to VIOLAPALOOZA 2014!

Saturday, October 18

You, your students, and colleagues are cordially invited to the first VIOLAPALOOZA on Saturday, October,18, 2014 at James Madison University. A free day of all things viola.

This packed day includes: masterclasses, performances, and of course the VIOLAPALOOZA Viola Ensemble!

George Taylor, celebrated performer and viola professor at the Eastman School of Music, will be part of the faculty and will present a special masterclass for advanced high school and college level violists. Morning masterclasses will be open to all participants with advanced registration. The best news, all of these events and classes will be presented to you at no charge.

While all levels are invited to attend, this day may be more comfortable for violists who can read music and have played at least a year. Please check the VIOLAPALOOZA website https://sites.google.com/site/violapalooza/home for more registration and details.

Both Amadi Azikiwe (JMU) and I are excited to be able to present this wonderful event so please feel free to forward this information with everyone and contact me with any questions or comments  We look forward to creating a stronger network of violists!

With warmest regards,

Ayn Balija
