New Director Needed

We are looking for someone to take over as Director of The Colonnades Singers. We currently have a resident leading this chorus but as of December she is giving it up. She is 90 + so I totally understand. We have advertised within but have had no luck at all. It would be a shame to have this group go by the wayside as they really enjoy getting together to sing and they enjoy the fellowship as well. They have been on summer hiatus but the group will start up again on Wednesday, October 14th and begin to rehearse for their Holiday Recital in December. They are only going to meet once a week at 1:30 pm for one hour on Wednesdays. They were meeting on Monday and Wednesday but decided to cut back to one day a week. I would be willing to pay $25.00 for the hour if someone was interested in working with this senior group. Please contact Fran Perrotta at the Colonnades: thecolonnades.cld@sunriseseniorliving.com

Accompanist/Organist/Pianist Needed Imediately - Staunton

First Baptist Church, Staunton.  After 11 years, our organist/pianist/accompanist turned in her resignation abruptly due to personal difficulties.

We are in need of a good pianist/accompanist immediately.  We need someone who can play both traditional music (hymns) and more contemporary music, as we have a blended worship style.  We also have a choir.

We need someone who can help with choir practice on Wednesday evenings from 7:30-8:30 and play on Sunday mornings from 10:30-11:30ish (as well as arrive early to warm up the choir).

We need someone to begin with our choir on Wednesday, September 30 and to play for our congregation on Sunday, October 4.  If you have gifted students or community connections that come to mind, please have them contact me as soon as possible.

We are looking for a permanent replacement, but if you know of those who might be able to help even temporarily, we would certainly be appreciative.  This is a paid position, though our administrative team would work out those arrangements
