Join the Charlottesville Symphony and Music Director Kate Tamarkin for its annual youth concerts with narrator Matt Blundin, former quarterback of the UVA football team. Meet the instrument families as the orchestra performs the music of Tchaikovsky, Prokofiev, Sousa, and Shostakovich. The narration will emphasize teamwork by comparing a football team to the team of musicians who make up an orchestra. More details and registration information will follow in early August.
